Tori Bryant brings five years of professional experience as a Senior Recruiter on our Strategic Staffing & Supply Chain team. She would describe herself as ambitious, determined, and big hearted!
Q: Why do you do the job you do?
A: I didn’t plan to land in staffing – actually I will be the first to admit that I hung up on recruiters that called me after college. Knowing what I know now about the staffing industry, I would have LARGELY benefitted by taking those calls. My role as a recruiter gives me pride, especially in the times we are in now, to be able to say that I assisted in getting someone back into the workforce or maybe out of a toxic employment situation and into their dream career role.
Q: What is one piece of advice you wish you could tell your younger self?
A: Do NOT let anyone tell you that you don’t have what it takes. Let that be additional fuel in your drive to succeed.
Q: Who is your biggest inspiration?
A: My mom, Margi. She has been through so so many ups and downs and she stands taller now than I have ever seen her before. Independent and successful since age 20, immediately after college – mother of 3 beautiful, smart and successful daughters. I wouldn’t change it for the world – I am so grateful and lucky to have her for a mother/inspiration/hero/rock/go-to for everything! May the waterfall of happy/appreciation tears commence!
Q: What are you passionate about?
A: I’m turning a new leaf this year. New me. Not like your yearly “resolutions”. Making a change to get to the best me I can be. Professionally, personally, mentally, emotionally – all of the above.
Tori enjoys reading books by motivational writer, Rachel Hollis and has recently watched Behind Her Eyes and Good Girls.
